Favourite Stories from the Water Margin 1 - Stealing the swan feathered armour

When Song Jiang, the protector of Justice and leader of the gallant faternalty at the Marshes of Mt Liang Shan was confronted by the defeat of Famed General Hu Yuan Zhao's linked mail chain formation army calvary , It was Cash marked Leapord Tang Long who stood up in proposal for an army formation of bared lances of spooked sickle spear lances to defeat the foe . He then presented his design of the hooked lances handed down from his ancestors and instigated that the only right person who could teach their army to use it was General Xu Ning, the golden spear expert. Immediately, Lin Chong the Panther head and commander of the spears who knew of him stood up and supported his idea. To induce General Xu Ning up their brigandary strong hold however, required a brilliant plan to steal Xu ning's priceless family heirloom and precious Swan feathered armour . This piece of armour was a very uniquely exquisite golden plated breast plate made out of fine swan feathers in laid and embedded with in the breast plate making the soldier invincible to the penetration of arrows and spears .It was of extreme exquisite workmanship. So Wuyong the second-in-command and brilliant star military strategist devised his plan of action. It required Yang Xiong the Placid who knew Xu Ning's residence and flee on the drum Shi qian , the skilled burglar to do the job. Both of them did their job merticulously and successfully bringing General Xu Ning and his family up their mountain stronghold . General Xu Ning remonstrated against their trickery and initially refused to join them but was persuaded by Wu yong and Lin Chong that his expertises and contribution was very vital to saving them from the peril of the Song calvary and joing them in service was a very merticious and righteous act . General Xu ning thus relented. He imparted his knowledge of the bared lances and knowledge of military warfare to Song Jiang's regime and the foe of the Song Calvary was brilliantly defeated . Personal significance of this story to me : 1. Highlights my love for Chinese arts and military culture combined into one as the swan feathered amour is a pricelss work of art besides being an equipment of war and defence 2. That lawlessness , the lewd and stealth and strategy all have their merits to play in accomplishing something resourceful and saving people 3. A brilliant plot and tactical tale of heroic valour, deliverance and gurrella warfare of the mashes against a regular imperial army . It was for his reason that Chairmn Mao Zhe Dong was so inspired by the water margin as it gave him a good background in national heroism and gurrella tactics.

The Chinese educated Jade emperor venerator at the Singaporean Kellock road Coffeshop

I am not really interested in following any spefic philosophy and against any quest for any knowledge of the truth and any meaningful purpose to life . This is largely due to the fact that I am a follower of the chinese legalist militant power autocratic school of thought such as sun bin and han fei in which a highly militant power society is all about power and the rule of law and who has the right to hold power . The same is for Emperor Qin shi huang and Li si who is a legalsit and it was his advice and opposition aginast confucionsm and other religions and philsophies that led to the burning of confucious ethics because Confucionism is basically about civil administration and the rule of the ideal benevolent ruler . I am both a devout Song dynasty Jade emperor worshipper as well as very pre-clusive free-thinker charasmatic worshipper of the new creation church pastor Joseph prince prosperity gospel . God to me is merely and only a methaphoric spiritual reference of a higher or greater power beyond the universe . I do not personally and theologically accept and believe in that some kind personal creator of the universe and lovingly heavenly father god of all that exist high in the sky and I only propritate by Divine sovereign grace and will for good luck and health and get to eat something special and exotic to eat so I am not at all seriously spirituially committed myself to following any spiritual values and pathways of discipleship . It all came about one day when I was rushing in town to attend a career expo in the WTC and hurried looked for a place to have my lunch and my father dropped me into the Kellock Road coffeshop where we ate a bowl of teochew minced meat mushroom abalone mee pok. It was totally by chance that I fell into conversation speaking in mandarin with a Chinese educated person who sat with us on the same table and he told me that he was a jade emperor venerator free-thinker . Since this incident , I consequently did my own research into the popularity of Song dynasty jade emperor worshipping cult of Empeor Hui Zhong , the water margin, Qigong astral projections and astral dreaming and whenever I want something special to eat in town , I only need to project all my creative self-visualisation powers to the Jade emperor and will be able to find something special and exotic to eat anywhere and whenever I am in town to satisfy my overally self-assertive power egocentricity . Felix Tsung-Hsien Lim anywhere and whenever I am in town. This is because the Jade Emperor is the official ruler of heaven and responsible for the orderly nature of the cosmos and auspicious energies in line with the vegas star of the east of the solar energies of the sun so I propritate it and only it for everything in life to fall into place for me and only for me alone to satisfy my overly power egocentricity .

The lore of city God worship

City God worship had been observed since Medieval Chinese history when towns and cities and dykes were built. This was more so in the later Song dynasty with development in astral naval shipping , water astronomal clocks and engineering and the agricultural reforms of Minister Wang An shi . Then there is the strange story of Dee gong Ann or strange cases of Famous Tang dynasty Dee gong or Judge dee who sought an oracle from the city God temple . As a Chinese legalist scholar , I know that the city God is one of the Chinese legalist gods besides Guan gong and Shang di the astral great bear for militant power because Chinese legalism is about determining the rule of law and the preveledges of the political elite in power and control . What I love about the city god lore is that the city god as a link to the astral world is has a police jurisdictive and legal authority to watch over the people and report to the Jade emperor by deceiding on rewards and punishment and human welfare and protection of the population. So this necessitates the making and offering of all sorts of scarifical food offerings and exotic festival auspicious pastries to appease the heavens for luck and grace . It is also a very good opportunity to eat some exotic tasty treats . China since its civilisation always had been confronted with problems in relation to power and population control and industrialisation and this problem has only become more exacabated in our post modern times with numerous human rights issues and consumerism on the rise . Singapore is only but a micro minizarise world dominated by a semi-behanine benevolent autocacry of a one party dominated mad rat race society . It was under such prevalent circumstances where our mainland forebears resorted to their own devices of city God worship to voice for some justice and peace and protection from upstairs ! http://chinesetemples.blogspot.com.au/2006/07/23-seng-wong-beo.html Chinese Temples: 23. Seng Wong Beo 都城隍古庙 chinesetemples.blogspot.com Any tips for male/ female on prayer in this temple? I'm quite confused when some say male should pray anti clockwise before reching back to the

Veneration of Leizu in Suzhou folklore in relation to silk and shipping

The thunder god was one of the principle gods worshipped in association with magic where the taosit monks came with gongs and drums to perform its rites and this practise is still going on in Taiwan today. The chinese Lei gong is actually the Indain transplanted Rain god Varapni just as the greeks had Zeus. Nordic myths had Thor all with same features of a demi-god with wings and a hammer . The Chinese minister of Thunder Wen Chung is the agent of Lei zu, wife of the yellow emperor . She was the goddess of horticulture and silk-weaving as she taught the people agriculture, rearing animals and making clothes . Thus in Suzhou, local folklore and religion is the worship of Lei zu relates to shipping and silk textile industries and farming. The thunder queen's thunder commands the changes in weather patterns determines food and supply for shipping and bales of silk transported across the grand canal into Jiang su where the silk textile is regionally produced . This was a custom observed during late Min g and Qing times when by prominent families of Shipping pursers were court purveyors of silk clothings for the imperial royal family. This was illustrated in the dream of the red chamber where Xue Pan was the son of a wealthy imperial court purvoyer of the Illustrious Ning mansion. Lei zu the thunder queen had many children with the Yellow emperor who was the original acclaimed mythical ancester emperor of the chinese race associated with the royal astral equatorial realm . Chang yi was the eldest of many who settled in henan which denotes the settlement of the Chinese civilisation at the Yang zi. This is the evidence that original chinese native religion is thunder worship in association with river dragon empeor worship due to its locomotive settlement at the river deltas. It is not the result of a helio-centric society which contributed to monotheism unlike the Jews and the middle east races which crated the Shang dim lore that came much later post warring states literature .

Of vietnamese Taosit dieties

During the time of our family early migration into Melbourne, Chinese and asian food was scarce and costly . The only available places to eat were the various Vietnamese resturants and Vietnamese chinese supermarkets run by the local communities. One incident was when my fatyher and I ate Vietnamese satay beef kuay tiow and I saw the Vietnamese chinese local owner offer a sacrificial food offering of a bowl of yellow egg noodles or mee pok soup at to his earth god shrine . The Vietnamese and khmers also had their own earth god or god of fertility and fortune known as the om khar . It is an indian figurine wearing a turban and fanning himself laughing . He is prayed to by bakers , confectioners and butchers alike . Another incident occurred humorously when the Nanyang Asian supermarket ran out of the Chinese wife biscuits which I loved due to my sweet tooth and I asked the shop assistance when it will be available . He told me there and then I had to wait for 2 weeks for them to replenish the stock as they were imported by ship so I suggested to them to pray and ask some diety to hasten the shipping delivery! Upon inquring which god would they resort to in supplication, his answer was none other than the river goddess Mahzu or Empress of heaven known amongst the seafaring communities and my interest in Vietnamese taoist dieties and customs developed from then onwards . However, being male, I had no interest in the empress of heaven being a mere river goddess so I did my own research and found out that Shang di or Di Gong which is the male Hokkien seafarers god alongside Dou Mu the astral queen and the nine princes . It was transplanted into Phuket in Thailand and the Vietnamese Mekong delta since the later Ming dynasty by migrants refugees. In Ming dynasty China , Emperor Yong le raised the north pole star-god or beiji gong as the absolute divine ruler during the building of the forbidden city in line with feng shui astrology taosit architecture . On the Vietnamese side , it was the fourth Nugyen Emperor Thu Duc who built the famous memorial garden palace . Emperor Thuc Duc was the last independent emperor to rule Vietnam before French colonial rule was established . http://home.earthlink.net/~vieticons/taoistdeities.html

My true and personal Tua pek gong stories - continued

My true and personal Tua pek gong stories part 2 - In relation to Singapore's shipping history Singapore's shipping history predates to the fouding of the srivijaya empire and the subsequent opening of Malaaca for trading in the fourtheen century which the Asain-paciifc trade route was linked to the Middle east , Burma, Thailand, China, India, Cambodia of the Funan kingdom and Europe. Today, the Singaporean busy ports of Tuas, Jurong , Clifford pier and the boat quay areas of Singapore's early trade and migration history of the many migrats from Tamil india, Celyon, the Malabar eas coast , Fukien china , Malay, Indonesain Boyanese and Arab settlers still abound from the Kallng river basin all to way to the upper east coast of Cahngni, Luuo yang, Siglap , Ktong and Marine parade . It was in Jalan Kayu an the Merchant road , shoert street and the Coller quay and Clarke Quay areas to the south bride road to Tanjong pagar that early shipping activity and assocations at one time were prolific. These were the places of sailors, flag makers , Indainand Muslim rope and rattan flander makers . Jalan Kayu once had a local boat builders association which consist of the local Hokkien , Teochew, Hainamese and Hakkas boat builders . Besides constructing boats made out of wood and fiber glass, the Hokkien seafarers by local custom propritated several Chinese astral gods of the Helio-centric Kuiper belt which is the a perceived gigantic cosmic celestial abode and galaxtic house in connection to the sea and shipping for sea passage safety , journey mercies , good fortune and good business ventures and retrun of exports and imports. Tua Pek gong as a local business god and shipping and sea passage is venerated every 7th month and fervently prayed to in line with the legend described above . This custom later spreaded to other business Chinese professions of craftsmen, shirne -makers, furniture and artisians by Hakkas , Hokkiens and Teochew confectioners alike . other gods venerated are : 1.Shang di or the ursa major star-dipper of the sailors who is also the husband father-star of tou mu , the astral mother and the nine princes . The nine emperor princes festival is still celebrated amongst the Peranakn old Nonyas and teochews in hou gang from the time of the Simgaporean Teochew Gambier kings 2. Mah zu or tian hou or the Chinese river goddess . It is more popularly venerated by the Hainamese for sea safety with paper boats and fire crackers following a local story of how she saved the locals from a storm at sea in Meizhou 3. The Goddess of mercy of the southern seas and the monkey god . oth have the powers to quell the ocean Today, the Singaporean boat building community has been re-located to Jurong and Tuas . ============================================================================================ Felix Tsung-Hsien Lim23 September 2013 08:16 Part 3 - In relation to Food and wealth Being Chinese Singaporean by birth, I observed from my childhood that the local Hokkiens and teochew communities would raise a local shrine to venerate Tua pek gong whenever they opened a business shop to sell food and groceries. The Teochews confectioners are especially good at it and that was something I picked up whenever mother did her usual shopping in toing ahru market stalls where the hawkers made and sold her white gluey watering Song kuei filled with khoo chye or chives or shredded turnips. With my several recollections and encounters at the Singaporean local eateries , Consequently, Tua Poek Gong became very inspirational to my personal interest for Teochew food and money whenever I missed the local exotic snacks and treats from back home having been a sojourner in Australia for exceedingly 20 years. ========================================================================================================= Felix Tsung-Hsien Lim23 September 2013 08:32 Part 4 - Why my Parental Grandmother hates Christianity and despised my third Uncle Eng bitterly This is a true story that my parental grandmother or my father's mother told me . Third Unlce Eng is the husband of my third aunt Lina and sister of my father . Both of them are devoutly Christian and send us to Sunday school without fail every Sunfay morning . I was never going to know that a strange interlude would come about one day that I wuld tke a very strong interest in Chinese folk religions though I am not suppose to while growing up as a Christain. This is how it happened : My grandmother told me this true story one day that during the time when my uncle Eng went to New Zealand to study abroad, he brought with him a tablet to Tua Pek gong and fervently prayed to it daily I the hope that the would succeed in his exams but failed . Later, he was introduced by friends to a local church and was led by the pastor of the church to Christ and disposed of his Tua Pek gong tablet . Then he started to attend church but he still failed his exams . That was how she came to hate christainity and Christian missionaries since then and why she hated and depised my Uncle Eng bitterly. It was my grandmother's hatred of christain missionaries and my reading of the menace of christain missionaries that fulled ny hatred against any form of religious evangelism, faith conversions and the great commission that led me to the anti-evangelical doctrines of the extreme froms of Calvinism much later in Australia . ========================================================================================================= Felix Tsung-Hsien Lim23 September 2013 08:43 part 5 - the lost passport and the Tua Pek gong dream Being an Australian migrant, I still hold on to my Singaporean citizenship kept away in a cupboard . A week before the time I was to return home to Singapore , I discovered that my passpoert was misplaced and become very frantic , pacing up and down in anxiety and perplexity as to how and why it was not there and informed my mother . Then I went up to my bedroom to try to relax and calm myself down and sat in qigong meditation and praying to the lord Jesus above for any from of divine intervention . There and then , I saw I a vision of my passport at the foot of Tau Pek gong being a local household god and the lord Jesus spke to me that I would find the missing passport. I became very calm instantly and just as I finished my astral qigong dream experience, my mother announced she found it misplaced in another cupboard that she kept it way for safe keeping and forgot about it . Still this day, I am puzzled as to why it worked that my way but it worked any way and took a strong local interest in the Tau Pek gong dream phenomena ====================================================================== part 6 - From Rebecca Chung's Phoniex Part - From Rebecca Chung's Phoniex Phoniex and other stories is one of the local writing by Rebecca Chung . It was about a brothel girl Phoniex who was a Tue Pek gong devotee . She joined the many faithful who would make their prilgrimage to Kusu island where the local devotees would obtain an amulet from the temple to the diety with their supplications. The prayer amulets are then hung on a tree and when they get answered, the devotee returns with offerings and sacrificial food offerings of thanksgiving and takes back the amulet. All asaparing caberet girls do hope to meet with a regular patron who would redeem them from their abject doldrums and Phoniex was like-wise but to the shock and amazement of all, it was Ah send the Fried Kway tiow Hawker who supplied their regular daily lunch who made his move ! So Phoniex married Ah Seng and had a daughter by him .She moved on with her life renting out a flat in Lavender street frying Kuay Tiow and devoted all her energies to educate her daughter to give her a better life.

My True Tua Pek gong Stories - part 1 the original legend

Being Singaporean Chinese by birth, I observed from my early childhood that the local Hokkeins, Hakkas aised to him .This is the legend on how the first Tua Pek Kong in Malaysia came about: In 1745, Zhang Li, Khoo Yeow (From Ta Pu) and Ma Hock Choon (Hokkien Yong Tian) came from Chao Zhou across the ocean, supposedly to Batavia . (Present day Jakarta) However there was suddenly a big storm, and the boat was diverted to a Penang cape . At that time the cape looked like a pearl, so they called it the Hai Zhu (sea pearl) islet. As the boat was damaged beyond repair, they cannot go to Batavia any more, so the boat occupants (about 50) decided to stay in Penang. At that time only Zhang Li has some learning, he taught the Chinese how to cut the log and build houses, how to farm te land. He also used some of the goods from the boat to barter with the natvies some fruits and seeds. Khoo was that time an iron smith, Ma knows how to burn coal, so they cut trees and burn coal, and turn the waste iron from the boat into utensils. The 3 brothers worked hard, and the followers respected their dedication and called Zhang Tua Pek Gong, Khoo Second Pek Gong, and Ma Third Pek Gong. Times flies, these group of 50 soon intermarry with the natives, and some migrated to other parts, leaving behind Zhang Li and a few Chinese. Zhang Li also have some knowledge of medicine, and he often collect herbs and treat people. It was soon 50 years after he came to Penang. Khoo and Ma came back to visit Zhang then, but they could not found him. They heard from the neighbours he has gone to collect some herbs, so they set off to find him. They managed to locate him mediating at a cave. At first they did not disturb him, but as day turn into night, they soon discoverd Zhang was dead. Later on, the two brothers also died and all three were buried along side each other To remember these island pioneers, people began to build this Tua Pek Gong temple at the Hai Zhu Cape, hoping that Tua Pek Gong can continue to help and protect the people. In 1786, Captain Francis Light accidently discovered that there were some fisherman living in the island, and a few Chinese including Zhang Li. He have predated Captain Francis Light by 41 years to discover Penang. -------------------------------------- When Tua Pek Gong died, one day a man in Malacca named Chan had a dream. In the dream, Tua Pek Gong told him if he is to be rich, he must donate a piece of land in Malacca to build a Tua Pek Gong temple. He said he was attached to a piece of wood. Later someone build a Tua Pek Gong temple at Malacca Cape, which is now located at the Tua Pek Gong Street in Malacca. This Tua Pek Gong Temple (now known as Sam Duo Temple) was built in 1795 (known as Cheng Long Hui first and renamed in 1857 as Sam Duo)

The problem of the Bible and organised spirituality My problem with Christianity and the bible is not one of faith versus logic and reality or relgilion verus true history and science because all religious text including the bible with its long standing retrospetive history is bound to be controversial as to it is to be applied and it varies according to the individual belief system as to what they are comfortable with. This is why the psudeos scientific world views and controversies of Dr fitzof Capara and of Prof Paul Davies comes in to the picture where he posulates that while science can give evidences of a bigger or greater power or order that exist outside mysteriously of the universe, religious doctrines and beliefs in god are entirely based on personal convictions and not on facts which are not necessarily valid nor be substantiated . I personally find the problem to be very problematic in that it accounts for a very idiosyncratic historical world view of a Christ geo-centric cosmology as the creator of the cosmos and the true source of life . This dismisses automatically any validity in pre-historical evolution mysteries in relation to panlathological analysis and the study of the planets and it only gives very vague references to the solar system and all that the mysterious wonders of our galaxatic forces can offer and our dainosours reptile counter parts can shed some light on our origins especially given that the fabulous Chinese dragon and momuentous nagas or huge lizards of the Greek -idian nindo Aryan and austrenesian migration. Consequently, most correctly acclaimed biblically true centred believers especially those of the creation science legalist bible answers forum would dismiss any validity on Ufos and scientific mysteries of any sort and are the criticisms of Steph Hawkins , Richard Dawkins and the rationalist like. Putting that all that aside, christainity nonetheless like any monothiesitic creation based creeds of Judaism, Islam, Zoarastrainism and even the non-theistic philosophies of the oriental spiritualty such as Jainism, Therevadha Buddhsim , Confucionism, Taoism , Theosophy , Reiki and spiritual movements and their numerous creeds are by nature highly evangelical and apostolic - meaning that they are based on a system of commitment to discipleship and faithful moral dutiful calling to some superior guru or master to transmit some wisdom to obtain salvation and come pausible resolution to the mystery of the universe and answers to the meaning of life . All that is just a whole lot of bull for I am totally opposed to any commitments and responsibilities to follow any spiritual pathways of true discipleship . △ ▽ • ✏Edit •

THe significance of the Chinese black tortise in Chinese Daoist culture

True original authentic Chinese relgious culture is its river Dragon Emperor worship from its auto-chronologiccal shamantist and primitive culture due to tis River civlisation settlement . It is neither Daosim, buddhism and Confucionism which were intellectual revolutionary philosophies which came much later in the development of the Chinese civilisation. As according to ETC Warner's myth and legends of China, Chinese sociology evolved from the spread of the Indo-aryan migration from Sumeria into ancinet Greece, India, Egypt and China and it was the slave tribal Chief King Chi or Emperor Chi who spurred on the Han Chinese migration across the asain steppes cira the Akkadain king Sargon the great and the Gilgamesph Biblical great flood stories . The subsequent settlement of the Han chinese race into the coastal plains of central China and its river civilisation atthe Yellow river Delta and the YangZi or long river craeted the legend of the Yellow emperor or Huang di and the reig of its Shahmantic Sage king or five Augustus sovereigns of Empeor Yao, Yu , Shun and Yu the great . It is Yu the great legend who subdued the floods from the Akkidain era that was tied up in a creation myth in which Yu the great consulted a gigantic Magic Chinese snake tortise snake with an oracle to subdue the great flood. This creation myth is the evidence of the Chinese prehistorical evoltion missing link which is linked to the giant Turtles of Galapogos . In my pratice of the Yellow Empeor Daoyin Qigong which is tied up in Chinese alchemy, astrology, planetry ecology and internal chinese chinese medcine for my renal kidney failure, it is stated that the my kidney as one of the five organs besides the heart, liver, Spleen and lungs is linked astrologically to the magic black tortise of the north in alingment with the planet Mecury and the Magic tortise of Hung di in which Shnag di being a half man and dragon demi water god and the god of the north pole has the tortise as an aquatic symbol of water power besides Zhu rong the fire god represnted by the fire snake . Shang di being the great bear or Ursa major star of the north rules over water and fire power of the mountins, rocks, rivers , sky and land as symbolic of the chinese strive for ecological balance and harmony of water and fire power . The black snake tortise is synomously a boy warrior torise spirit who helps Shang di to rule on behalf of Huang di and it is highly symbolic of water power and longetivity . The chinese god of weatlh rides of a tiger , The Chinese god of prestige rides on a dragon and the chinese god of longevity rides on a a tortise. Why is that so ? Both the crocodile and the turtle are considered as children and descendants of the drago king known as the Crocodile tuo dragon or dragon princes or duchess and it was the Dragon prince tortise tuo dragon or tuo dragon-prince which became the Chinese marine naval astrlogical symbol in its history and that was wny my matrnal great grandfather Bian Bao di had the Tuo dragon tortise tablet to commenrate his achievement having done great things for the nation as well as devloping the Fukien docklands and ship-buliding in his offical career as the governor-general of Fukien . so following with my fasciantion and intriggue by the Huang Di Shangdi legend , I asked myself some very significant curious facts and persoanl questions that will help to answer and impact on my persoanl life , directon and destiny : 1.What is the turth behinf this Chinese tortise heraldry 2.the pre-historical evoltionary misisng link with the Giant turltles of Galapogos 3. Why is the Tortise regraded as a symbol of longevity and assoicated with alchemy, awe and magic and it is until now that I woke up to these answers a. The giant gigantic green trutles and desert Californain turles are indeed a humogous and majestist sight to behold that the mind of primitive men would associte it with magic b. That it is a fact that Turtles and tortiese of all shapes and sizes are the greatest and longest surviours of pre-historical reptiles than the snake, Crocodlie and other replties c. Turltes are very unique in its self-defensive cohabitant and its shell life gives its strenght to surive . tortise shalls are so unique that thee is no other materail or ttiiuse or nerver bone that could replace its atomic shell structure other than to be repelced by fibger glass . No woder that turlte shells are so sacred, rare and preciously unique that it was used by the chiense for tortise shell divination, magic and alchemy d. that the legendary Snake tortise warrior in relation to the wroship of Shang di as its water guardain is actually the African Alligator Turtle . It is not only huge in size but a very fromidable predator of the sea and to be respected and subsequently incoparated as a clestial marine imperial Chinese symbol and knowning now gives me some clue that Shang di has per-detemiend by fate that I should have an interest in the preservation of turtles and tortises in realtion to my future destiny becasue they are a unique wonder as part of the Chinese acquatic ecolgocal marine naval astronomical heritage and life .

Western Chinese provincial religions and JiangNan culture

My practice of Ba gua Dao-yin Qigong is based on the Yellow Emperor classicals of internal chinese medicine and astrology . This led me to acquire the skills in Qi gong astral porjections and ghost dreaming . It is from my extreme fascination in the Chinese classical detective mystery paranormal fiction of Robert Van gulik Judge Dee Ren jie criminal fiction and Feng Meng Long's unorhdox recalitrant writings of the famous Ming dynasty Suzhou prefect Kuang Zhong that led me into a real life adventure that I was able to absorb the profusion of the local religious folklore of western China as well as the confluences of Suzhou-Hangzhou JiangNan culture. According to Dr robert Can gulik's Judge dee mysteries, Judge dee Ren jie served as a county magistrate in Lanzhou and it is a true historical fact that Judge dee at one time the governor of Gansu in the Ning prefecture . So I used my Qigong astral projection skills one day and projected my request to the lord in the way beyound and into an image of Judge Dee in Robert Van gulik's DEE gong Ann novel for a personal real life encounter of Judge dee's manefestion one day . When my prayer was answered, my parents and I undertook a silk road trip into China's western provinces starting from Sechuan and the estuary of the Yellow river . and it was true to my wishes in Lanzhou and one afternoon that I discovered an effigy of Judge dee in a local sovenoiur curio shop. There the locals weaved a beautifully crafted Judge Dee doll effigy made of cotton riding on a water bufflao and brandshing two chinese swords for protection and to ward of the spirits and I kowtowed promptly to it . It was there and then that I discoverd for myself that Judge Dee has been raised and dietified up in a local chinese folklore and custom in river dragon-king worship for auspicality, peace and protection of natinal welfare and happiness and ghost dreaming because Judge dee was the county prefect of Gansu and its local praton. Moving on with our Silk road trip to Sechuan , Gansu and Dun huang, other subsequent discovries I made on the silk road adventure were: 1.From western Sechaun provinces of Cheng du where local Daosit folklore is populary prasticed was the veneration of Zhu Ge liang, Xiang yu and Jade empeor who were the local boxer gods in the ninetheen century. -Zhu ge laing is tied up in Chinese astronomical calculations , naval arfare and strategy from the classcail stories if the Three Kingdoms. - Xiang yu is drawned as a local insparation from the tragic story of farewell my concubine and that he was a great adminstrator and the duke of the western China - Jade empeor worship was in relation to the evolution of a helio-centric society and rasid to almighty God from the Indian king indra in the Tang dynasty 2. The Gansu Buddist who are into vijiranna Buddhism when budhism spreaded from india into Western china in the northern Wei and Lioa dynasty and tea trade which extended from sechaun into the kyber pass into the Tibetan Himalayans, Sikkim and India 3. The phenomnal Du huang grotos in which enormous buddhst murals are well preserved that spreaded from the Pimar hills of Monk Xauan Zhang's prilgrimage to the west and from the Euro-Asians silk routes of Samrankan, Bukkara, Transoxnaia, Takikstan and Ubekistzan 4. Turkic Ugyger Manicheansim, Nestoranism , Islam and the comical Sufis saint of Narsidin Avanti from the Euro Aryan turkic of East Turkestan and the Tungus tribe of siberia and golden tartars who raised the towns of Kohtan, Talamankan, Mongolia and central asia of Kashgar , Tajikstan , Kazahstan and Ferghana of tody's Soviet Russsia Republic. 5. The Hui muslims of Gansu , Ningxia, Shanxi , Yunan provinces and Canton in which the is are the ancestral homeland of famed Turkic Arabian Admiral Cheng ho . The unorthodox confucion Scholar Feng Meng long is famed for the local folk ballad of a local coutesean Du shi Niang as well as the story of the local Ming dynasty prefect Kuang Zhong in the story 15 strings of cash. Projecting my Energies into Kuang zhong ,I again wished for an encounter of prefect Kuang Zhong . My wish was granted when in a family trip to Suzhou and it was in sigthing the famous Suzhou mystical temple of dreams that was dedicated to the Chinese God of literature temple. Astral projection Qigong dreaming into Xuan Tian Shang di

This is a very true and personal astral deaming expreince . As an overseas chinese Australain now living in Mlebourne as a migrant for 26 over years and made many trips back and forth to my home town in Singapore . I practise Ba gua Qigong for many years due to my reanl kidney failure and have expereinced many Qigong Astral projection sleep dreams . These astral projection dreams are a result of my great and strong fascination for intriggue and Chinese detecitve muder mystery paranoimic fiction in which Ling Meng chu , the Ming dynasty unorthodox confucian scholar of Chinese in chinese literature wrote many strange stories of Bao gong ghost dreaming with astral dreaming encounters and connections to some god or spirit whenever Bao gong neeed some help to slove difficult and complex cases . My practise of Taiji Ba gua Qigong astral projections and dreaming happened one night when I feel asleep . I then felt my spirit leaving my body and levitated itself into the astral world of the unknown and unseen and consequently in a transinet state expreinced a astral projection dream . In the dream I saw myself entering into a very huge building which was some sort of temple . At this temple, I saw a three tried flight of steps with each step leading to a prayer hall of some sort and as I mounted the each level of te staris , I saw three different alters dedicaed to three gods. After viewing each different god, I then proceeded downstairs and my spirit returned to my body back on earth and I woke up . This persoanl astral dream materialised on earth during my third trip back to singapore one afternoon after I attended Sukyio Mahikari in Geyland at Singpaore's east coast . Passing by the streets, I heard some very loud noises with some procession going on and passd by the Singpaorean Shang di temple . As I went into the temple and inquired, I discovered that the local Hokkiens and Teochew communities were celebration the birthday of Shang di and honouirng the Jade emperor with scarifices gifts . Then and Then I ascended three flight of stairs in the Shang di temple exaclty as I saw in my dream which led me to behold a gigantic size of the Jade emperor with the jade empeor astral boy-god made out of rice flour or Huang di tong zhi seating on its shoulder and I ressemabled that boy. I then descended downstairs to join in the celebration watching the locals perfoming a Chinese opera and birthday celebration in honour of Shang di and had a very enjoybale time and wonderful day that day . Since then, I believed that I was sent by the Jade Emperor to enjoy being entreatd into the nine reginal palace gates jiu xuan gong jue in my astral connection with Shang di . Further personal reseached on the net and your program on you tube did ascertained that Xaun Tain shang di indeed had some connection with Taiji and that it helped me with my Qigong practise with Shang di being the astronomical north pole stellar or Bei ji Gong which determined north-westerly patterned astronomical foot work of the Ba gua to help me gain more balance and contorl of my limbs and my body as well as that Shang di or Di gong being the balance of fire and water power are related to the internal organs of the stomach , kidneys and liver which connects to the dragon and jupiter cosmic alingnment is very helpful for the internal respitory digestion system in internal chinese medicine and also in connection to the Yellow Emperor's internal medication cannon for meditaiton all helps to generate wholen ess and health for long life.

True Guan Gong stories in Cinese folklore 2 - Of chicken rice and Hong Kong Roast duck and the Past era of the Chinese gold Rushes

As a Singaporean Chinese Austrlian weird Foodie, I came across a stall selling Hainanese chicken rice in Sydney's Chinatown in Globurn street. The lady vendor told me that Hong kong people always worshipped Gaun gong for business and since then ,I made a sub-concious connection that if I were to find a good Hong kong resturant that offered Chicken rice and Hong kong roast , I would use my Qigong astral projection creative visualisation skills and the ideal shop will appear. 1. One such cafe was the Golden wok of Melbourne Causeway Inn ran by Sally Tang, a Malaysain-chinese from Ipoh. She told me that they prayed to Guan gong for buisness as Gaungong was a beancurd seller . 2. Sechuan Flower ,a resturant located nearby my Camberwell home down-under here in Melbourne was run by Kenneth Leong and wife Ellleen . I visited them every now and then in the evening and go to know them quite well as I love Spicy Chinese food . As I sighted their statue of a standing statue there one night , Elleen and I decided to have Gaun gong's intervention to bless the shop , so Elleen placed a metal oval dish of a boiled chicken tigh as a scarificial offering to the diety .We invited Gaun Gong to entreat the shop with good fortune , watched and waited until Guan gong finished eating the chicken ! Then she shook the bell asking to be blessed for good business and the night ended rather humourosuly well delightfully . Kenneth Leong was a member of the Melbourne masonic society . He told me that they regularly burnt joss sticks in prayer to Guan gong in their hall . I have visited the hall a few times and have seen the painting of the pictures of the Five augustus ones on their wall. 3. My father being a freemason had to attend a private conference in Christchurch which lasted for 3 days . As my third Aunty Lina on my father's side and Uncle Eng having migrated to New Zealand and lived in Christchurch , we deceided to call on them and invite them to a Chinese dinner in Christ church . Being was the first time in Chrsit church and told that the Chinese in Christ church was scarce as consequently there was no Chinatown which had a good Chinese resturant, I kept it in mind and in prayer chant to the lord in the way beyound for a sign for a good Chinese resturant with Hong kong roast duck and the Guan gong in it . The answer to my prayers materlised one night while my parents were attending the Masonary buffet night and I was left entirely on my own . Consequently, I went into the casino for the night visit to enjoy myself and looking out for a palce to have my dinner . Just as the public bus rounded through the corner of the highway into Colombus street, I sighted the number 1 Chinese provincail resturant at the bus stop so I aligted from the bus to dine in there . After some intense observation, I noticed the greenish shimmering gilted statue of the gaun gong on display atthe shop front and heeded the menu had a mixed roast duck combination . There and then I decieded than that the number 1 China provincail resturant was the desiganted place and the propritor in conversation affirmed that they stratgically chose that spot for business atthe bus stop as it was so conviently was placed and located to attract potential customers . So the follwong evening, my parents treated my Aunt Lina and Uncle eng to the resturnt after spending the day with them at their residence . And my father complimented me for the ideal location and that the dishes we had were very good besides the roast duck and pork combination dish and the food and service was of a good quality standard and reasonably priced. 4. The era of the Chinese victorian gold rushes in 1854 saw the arrival of chinese pouring into the Victorian gold-fields form Bendigo into Melbourne . Till present day, The Cantoense See yup society still stands there as a heritage building with the Chinese gardens opened in the Empeor Tong zhi era at South Melbourne Raglan street as a hall amrk of China's friendship society with Melbourne . Besides this there was also the Chinese Joss house or a miniture temple built in worship of Gaun gong for wealth , protection, dispensation of justice , settlement of social disputes and communal life as well as the veneration of the Chinese goddess of mercy for Women welfare. Presetnly, it is used as a Buddhsit convention centre attended by overseas chinese devout prasticing buddhist . Traces of the past overseas Chinese heraldry still remains too in Bendigo with a thriving business community form the mining booms days of yore and clebrations of the largest Chinese proecessioanl Dai long Eqaster Dragon . It was only called the Easter dragon because its customary processions were held in March as celebrations after the vegetable market gardening harvest without any assocaition to the Christian Easter .Much later in 1856 of the same era, the Melbourne Chinese Masonic society was founded . Today, it is used as a faternal charitable function hall in suport of the Mainland chinese Communist PRC with dinners hosted for the China delegation . 5. The Chinese diggers arrived in Castlemaine in the 1850s first before pouirng into the Victorian goldfields of Bendigo and Ballarat with the many who hailed from Canton and the Californain gold fields. Bendigo was then known to them as Tsin kum shan or New Gold mountain while Californa was known as Dai Kum shan or Big gold mountian being the orginal venue of their fortune-hunting expedition. As Castlemaine was only a palce for temporary Chinese migrants who came to mine the goldfields to send money backhome to the mainland , the Chinese settlement was few with Little Canton in Forst creek of Guildford , remote country shire away from the municipality of Castlemaine. What was interesting to note that the Temple or Joss house of Castlemaine dedicatd to Gaun Gong worship was for not only for wealth and protection but also for literature with Gaun Gong holding a book and a sword concurrently becasue it was patronsied by literate shop-keepers of acounts, pwn-borkers and bankers who could transcat business . Besides the local grocery for selling their vegetable market garden produce, herbalist, laundary and pawn-shops , there were also gambling and opium-smoking dens kike thsoe you read in Tin tin 's Blue Lotus Inn . All these venues while contributing to a vibrant Chinese community was also sources of protection of discriminaiton against Chinese gold-diggers on these grounds: 5a. Oppostion of their heathenistist worship as thier fortune-hunting and firece loyalty was evident by wealth worship of Gaun-di or Gaun gong agaisnt a European majoirty who were Judeo-christains worshipping in their churches 5b. that the Chinese being very exclsive amongst themselves never attemptes to assimilate with the wider European migrant community though this came much later with mix marriages to European women. The Chinese diggers often resorted to their dens and clans and secet socities of the Yee Hing or the remanant of the Chinese traid society of the Heaven and Earth Society , thus being described as being clannish, Clandestine , evil , sinister, dirty and unsrcuploius and cunning . 5c. That since most Chinese diggers were unskilled, they rarely prospered with alluvival minning and often got into strife with Europaen diggers who had the license to mine while Chinese were prohibited from holding a license and land tenure. Instead, many survived on market-gardening , laundering and pedalling . The acute social conditions of the times led to more vagrant disputes to break out , frequent hit and run murder and increased activites in gambling, smoking and idling and so forth tjat led to events such as the Lambing flat riots of Bendigo. 5d. As most Chinese diggers were tempory settlers, they often mine the fields and sent thier deposits back home in cash , thus the assucations of outflow of European gold money out of the country . 6. 1988 in the year of the dragon was regraded to be msot auspicious accoding to Chinese folklore . So I decedied to volunteer myslef for the Chjinese new year annual Dragon dance in Melbourne Chinatown. This annual dragon procession was held bythe Australain Chinese musuem, home to Melbourne's Dai Loong Dragon or largest dragon which was first used by the Chinese gold diggers in Bendigo in celebration of the lunar New year at the Victorain goldfields and had ben presereved at the Australain chinese musuem since then . 6a. The Chinese dragon dance association is run by Lim Tou Eng also known as the Dargon lady for both her role as the head of this ssmall assocaition as well as for her aggressive fiery temper . Dragon lady hled this procession annually with the sracifical offering of Roast pork dediacted to a shrine to Guan Gong . I was placed as leg no 8. with rest of the crew and those participating in the cortege holding paper porcessional floats and weapons and we had to wait for 20 minutes till the rites were over before we headed off with the march that ran from Cohjan place preceit to Longsdale street. 6b. The rites and ceremony involved dedication to Gaun gong and prayer for auspiciality as Dragons were intertwiend with rain magic . It is also a symbolof re-incarnation as added by Buddhism . The March ended at 2 pm or so with a three course sumptous free lunch given to all who participated including the liuon dances from the Chinese assocaiton of Victoria . This afternoon banqueting plus the procession became a very memoriable experience in itself but after turning hyper-calvinist and going back to church to keep the sabbath strictly, I never particapted again especially the procession invloves dedication to an idol .

True Gaun gong Stories in Chinese folklore - story 1

Story 1 - Of Guan gong's Chinese dragon Crescent Braodsword helberd , Chinese scimitars , oil and shipping Guan gong or Lord Guan was a popular Chinese folk-hero and a general from the time of the Chinese three Kingdom period of Chilvary when China was under chaos and ech state fought to maintiance of its miltary prowess, valour and control . Its ancinet tales of chilvary of true justice , fairness, equalty , virtures , valour and heroism predates from the Knight errants period of the warring states literature. Romance of the Three kingdom classical novels as one of China's priced literate classical works by Lo-Kuan-Chung and its heroic narratives were alter spreaded by chinese dramatic, astrologsit and recantours provincal-wide which led to the rise of the vogue of Chinese heroic worship of Guan gong in Chinese folklore. Guan Gong being a famed general was well known for weilding his Chinese crescent-shaped dragon blade helberd which was known as Guan Gong's Da dao or great dragon crescent sabre heldberd . It is widely used in Chinese painting, art and scupture today .He is even patronised by the Chinese poilce force as well as Chinese triad socities. In retrospect, there were several incidents in my childhood that drew to me be very attarcted to Gaun gong's helbard and Chinese Scimitars that relates to oil and shipping. It was only till recent after many years of retrospection and introspection that I discoverd the perssonal reason why that was the case which had led me to surf the net for oil and shipping news as a personal in-direct investor with the banks and take a very strong interest in China's Military and naval expansion as well as an entire trail of true stories Guan gong stories in chinese folk culture. For most Chinese Hongkong cantonse and Hokkien mercantile alike , it is worshipped as a military wealth god of sucess and prosperity . His heroic cult worship commenced with Cantonese paper merchants who worshipped him for themselves to be elevated to prestige when Gaun gong was raised to a general and it spreaded from that point in time . The reasons expalained to me were : a.According to Sally Tang, An Ipoh Hainamese chicken rice seller of Melbourne's Oriental Golden wok at the Casueway Hotel That because Guan Gong was originally a beancurd seller who alter rose pretigeousloy to become a general from being a humble beancurd seller . He was also known for his firece loyalty, courage, justice and integetery jointly with the three Brotherhood peach orchard oath of true justice and faternal undying loyalty he pleaded with Liu Bei the elder being was originally a straw scandel pedlar and Zhang fei a buthcer . b. Undying loyalty , trust and ingtery and cultivation of good-will are very essential for undertaking any enterprise by a Chinese Zhen yi Daoist monk of the Suzhou God of Chinese literture temple c. That he is even a popular folk hero amongst the police force, chinese martail arts prastices and Chinese triad secret socities inclduing the Melbourne chinese Masonic society becasue there is to be even honour amnongst thieves. d. According to MR. Loh my mother's cantonese Malaysain jeweller that his helberd symbolised the cutting of evil to dispel misfortune and his spirit of justice or yihey attacts auspicality. It all began first when my father drove a toy shop regularly in Singapore's Tiong Bahru Seng Poh road with a big and colourful golden helberd and other encounters with its life-size Chinese ceramic greenish proclean statue with him holding his heldberd standing fierciously and guarding against all evil energies . It was much later here in Melbourne as an overseas Chinse migrant that I realised I was drawn to it becasue I am simply becasue I am a very rude and disrespectivefully rude and arragont ,over self-centred power and selfish power aggressive bastard who have completely no respect for life and all humanity and any quest for the truth and knowledge of life and acqusition of wisdom . The most significant incidence occured in 1979 when I turned 11 years old . My fourth aunt Hsiu mei drove to Marine parade in Singapore's East caost for for my adoptive girl cousin's dental check-up. She drove past a tall bulidng which stood magcificently lofty by the sea front with its helium sign board displaying a slivery metallic gleaming and shimmering Chinese scimitar or Piao dao which was a symbol of Singapore's unique brand of peanut oil . It was much later as an overseas Chinese migrant that I made the connection of the Chinese scimitar's connection with Singapore's oil and maritine shipping history while surfing the net . After reading Margarat O'suvillan's narrative of Singaore's cottage industries in high rise Singapore in the Ships and things section that I discovered for myself that Singapore had a very long history of Asain-pacific and middle eastern Malay Archepalago shipping martine trade from the 5th century onwards which commenced with the Thai-Malay-Indonesain Srivijayan empire. Its many mercantile vessels and frigates sailed from Arabia, Massacare, Johore and Malaysia , China and India . At a certain time in Singpaore's history of overseas Chinese settlement early history, the boat buiders assocition of Singapore's Jalan Kayu while making boats out of timber and fiber glass propriated the Chinese river sea goddess emperss of heaven Mahzu while some venerated Di gong or the Chinese astrological great bear Shang di or north pole chinese star-dipper astral god or drak face lord in relflection of divine guidance from China's astro-navigation seafaring history. Follwing this narration , I surfed the net and came across the Jalan Kayu Gaun Gong temple where its overseas Chinese Singaprean Doaist chinee folklore believers worshipped Gaun gong, Di gong and Bao gong which released me to another episode in my adventures of my Bao gong ghost dreaming . Tracing my overseas Chinese roots of the Lim family, I disocovered according to the Chinese hundred book of surnames that being a Foochow and Chinese , I am a descendant of the period of Waring sates politican Lin Xiang ru, Qing dynasty Lin zhe xu and post Maosit China fall of the Gang of four Lin Piao . In a trip to China's weihei province , I recollecte thast It was Captain Lin Yong sheng as a naval commander who sailed his chinese frigate to weihei the Shangdong province under Li hong Zhang's aramda's Beiyang fleet . He sailed his frigate into Weihei wei bearing his late Qing dynasty scimitar or cutlasss . China's lost of the Sino-Japanese war was marked by the Japanese warship topedo attack on of Li Hong Zhong's armada and Lin Yong Sheng's frigate in which he battled to the last moment of his death by drowning. Having discovered this true historical fact shed some light and resloved my long search for a life long expalination at last as to why I always had been strongly and felt a very interest and bonding with Chinese cutlasses and ships from the days of my childhood as well as ths fact that I have also auto-generically inherited Lin Piao's genetic make-up in my persoanl pre-written DNA being a very deviously cunning , manipulative and dirty little selfish crooked fox and highy obessed with chinese miltaant prowess and martail arts. http://thechinatourism.com/2012/03/23/sino-japanese-war-of-1894-and-the-treaty-of-shimonoseki/

How I became a Singaporean Chinese BaoGong Ghost Dreamer

How I became a Singaporean Chinese BaoGong Ghost Dreamer I am actually a Bao Gong ghost dreamer and looking for friends to share my knowledge so I start by telling the history of Chinese bai shen primitive Daoist Chinese culture that evolved from early times to late Ming period that has shaped the facets of our overseas Chinese heritage : 1. That true Chinese religious culture originates from river worship of the Chinese shamanic age or the Shen hua xiao shou divine chronicles when the Chinese civilisation was a very pragmatic earth bound spiritual society 2. The need to adjust to settlement of river life in the yellow river delta Hung he basin and Yang zi or the great ocean created a great need for a balanced ecology with mountains, river, land, earth and sky which led to the creation of Shang di or Di gong in Hokkien which is the north pole astral god which derived from the balance of water and fire and alchemy to balance the cosmos to achieve universal rule, peach and harmony 3. Astral projections and ghost dreaming or ghost encounters were mixed with river worship and dragon emperor worship for river and flood protection and preservation of human welfare and happiness. 3a. Early worship of emperor sage kings of great Yu, Yao, shun and Yellow emperor known as the great auspicious five or 5 Augustus ones, demi gods and goddess such as Wang mu or the western mother, Nui wau, Pan gu and jiu tian xuan nui or jade fairy maiden for horticulture, agriculture and Chinese internal medicine originated from the Chinese autochonotic beliefs from their migration from Mesopotamia into the China plains and Asian steppes during the Akkadian great King Sargonic age 3b. Kingship of emperor worship and shamanic priest craft and dragon worship originated in the Shang and Zhou dynasty which were integrated into other literal works such as the Confucius teachings and the book of Songs, Spring Autumn annals and warring sates literature such as the drowning of Qu Yuan in the river which was tied in with dragon king worship and the boat races 3c. the school of legalism and school of military warfare of the warring states, patriotism and loyalty and chivalry poured into the Three kingdom period that created the Gung gong veneration and the later Song dynasty Water Margin and Bao gong Taiping era stories . 4. These was later mixed into later song dynasty neo-Confucius unorthodox teaching of Taoist Realist philosophy (quan zhen dao jiao) and Zen Buddhism which led Chinese Ming dynasty unorthodox Confucius scholar Ling Meng Zhu to reproduce the Song dynasty Strange and mysterious Chinese detective murder mystery of Bao gong Qi An or strange and mysterious Justice Bao cases in which Bao gong murder mystery combined with astral projections and ghost dreaming was adopted into Chinese folklore. 4a. Taiwanese and Hokkien taoist culture consequently elevated Bao gong into a river dragon god for human welfare, protection and happiness as well as the development of the Chinese legal system to reinforce justice and peace along side river worship of Shang di and mah zhu 5. Gaung gong and Shang di were elevated into important local gods during the early Ming dynasty of Emperor Yung le who was a follower of the Legalistic Taoist school of thought when he founded Zhen yi Taoism or a purer school of Taoism or legalistic righteous administration to reinforce his autocratic rule. Emperor Yong le was opposed to both Buddhism and Confucianism and heavily supressed and outlawed them because: 5a... Tibetan Buddhism and tantric practises was made popular by the Yuan dynasty Mongolian rule over China 5b. Confucianism which is based on benevolent rule undermined his autocracy and a great threat to him. Emperor Yong le imprisoned and exiled all his Confucian scholar ministers of his day and introduced Shang di as THE PRINCIPAL GOD TO BE WORSHIPPED absolute divinity which was very useful in according to the building of the forbidden city according to the north pole orientation of the imperial palace cosmology and elevated Guan gong and the city or town guardian into gods for national peace and prosperity. So this is how and why Taiwanese and Hokkiens as Malaysians and Singaporean Overseas Chinese have received the Chinese Ming dynasty Zhen yi Taoist heritage which developed from Beijing and spreaded into Suzhou and Hangzhou then into Fukien and Canton and subsequently became transplanted across Nanyang and into Singapore . The same is true of the Baba Peranakan culture of the early 20th century as wriiten by Felix Chia of the Babas . 7. Taiwan TV hollowood studio first produced the Bao gong chinese drama series which had a very psychomatic euphoric effect on its citizens who love Chinese dramatic films secularly and spirtually alike that it grew into a local pulp ficiton holly wood Taiwan stlye cult film . One such person was a Taiwanese business man who had a dream of a Black figure of Bao gong in certain county in Taiwan which forewarned him of an impending flood so he put away some money to rasie funds and built a local temple to Bao gong and the river goddess Mahzhu to prevent flooding . The flooding did actually occur and prayers at the temple helped to cause the flood to subside . Consequently the locals prayed piously and faithfully at his temple since then . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OaTx-jN0PQ8&feature=related 8. This popular Taiwanese Baogong cult film spreaded into Singapore and was reprodueced by the Singaapore SBC afternoon matinee . From my early childhood, I eacthed this sereies so dilligently glued on it with all its intrigging muder mysterious queer stories . I became so fascianted by Bao gong since then it and it is only till recent in my overeseas chinese retrospection mand introspection that I researched into its origins . Incorporating it into my Daoyin Chinese yoga Qigong astral projection excercises led to very real and strange and mysterious experiences that I post on this blog .

When prince nezha subdues the Dragon King

When prince nezha subdues the Dragon King Dragon King worship is one of the earliest form of shamanic primitive religions that stemmed from Dragon emperor worship which involved self-immolation and human scacrifices. According to Dr. Ong Hean Tatt's who is the conisseur and writer of Chinese occult and Jewish Kabbalism , His book on the Chinese Lung stated the appreance of a serpent lizard -like huge creature which appeared during Spring time was the ancester of the Chinese dragon . It orignated from the time of te River Repatalain Spoon-bill Dainasour which were the common ancestor of the Indonesian Commodore dragon, Aligators , Monitor lizards , Gekkos and the Crocodile family acquatic reptiles of today . The favourable cliamatic temperate condtions which caused the debut of this majestic awe-inspring gigantic lizard or sea serpent-like creature predated to the Chinese connection to the period of the Dianasours of a very green and laciously lucid tropical and well ecological balanced climates that caused animals to grow in enormous sizes. Dragons of the chinese culture from that Jurassic age is the same as Dainasaurs and this is why the chinese often referred to themsleves as children of the dragon attesting to its repetalian evolution. Other forms of dainasours discovered included the ancestor of the birds of prey which became the myhtical phoniex and  a symbol attributed to the mother god worship . It was under hese favourable primitve climax that also creatd the precedence cycle of the Chinese zoadic of primitive Chinese tribal society which amalagted with later studies in celestial bodies ,astronomy , astrlogy and necromany that created the Chinese horoscopes , forecasting techniques and divination of today on tortise shells . Dragons or dainasours thus an Ambiement symbol connected with auspiciality, fortune -telling, emperor worship , the celestail royal lineage and rain magic of neopolatic times . Buddhsim which spreaded into China from India during the 4th and 6th century led to the incorparation of the Indinn Naga king Buddhist symbol of protection against evil , floods and natural disasters. The best  example which I can recollect to have influenced the overseas Chinese Hokkien and Teochew Singaporean Culture community Taoist  bai shen piety was the legend of Prince Nezhe subdued the dragon king along side the Monkey god story when Tibetan folklore of vijayaran Buddhist Metaphysics and Indian Buddhsit Dhama intoduced these Indian Buddhsit tales to China during the Tang dynasty in 635 AD. It is the Indian Naga king buddhsit culture, in which the Buddha having attained enlightenment having subdued the evil nanga dragon conquering yamagata of the king of hell that gained entry into nirvana from SriLanka wandering monks of the Buddha with the Naga dragon flame which became incorparted into the Brahman Hindu demi-god king worship, art, architecture and yoga alike in the 5th century that spreaded and influenced Therevada Thai, Burmnese, Cambodain and Laos Buddhism of Lao Prabang , Hokkien Teochew Thai, Burmese , Laos, Cambodain and Indonesain segments of their Overseas Chinese heritage. It was in the year 850 that this vogue was also accomanpied by the spread of Ramanyna Hindu epic of King Rama's recovery of her pirncess consort Sita with the help of the Monkey god Hamunan and the motif of the Buddha with the naga flame and the royal umberalla Umbralla royal design that were used decoratively in stone carvings reliefs, satutes, imagary and architectural designs of the temple murals of the angkor wat and Borabordour . Circa the 6th century of Tang China that the Third prince nezha legend was conceived . Nezha was an avatar boy-god warrior and the son of Guardian Tower-king G Ling zhen . He is associated with water worship safety which was interwoven into the Hokkien Chinese antiqurain acquaitc-astro culture because Prince nezha loves to swim. And it was during his swimming that he waved his scafe , shaking the waves the Dragon king palace below and a fierce infurated battle followed in which the dragon king's son was slained and the dragon king himself defeated in battle. The dragon king in retaliaiton flooded Nezha's father's palace and lodge a complaint with the Jade emperor demanding a life for life . Nezha couragous took his own life . His spirit later re-incarnated as a god and cannoised . People started worshipping him and prayers for sicknesses were cured . In Singapore today, The Hokkien and Teochew Taosit communtiy of Geyland and Jalan Besar reverely expressed their peity with processional marches . Qigong Astral projecting into Nezha for my Ba gua excersice for strength in the arms and balance of the upper limbs and bodily joins attributing to his speedy riding of a flaming wheel as well as for spear play with the Indian Hindu diety Warrior Business king Murugan for Indian yoga and Qigong projections. This excersice in Qigong projections of Third prince Nezha also leads obtaining money and the channelling of auspicious positive creative synergies of the universe to supply me with seafood having subdue the evil Naga dragon king of the yin energy generates copiciosuly the synchnicity chance encounter of enjoying eating the assortment of seafood right to my utmost satisfaction !
